Statement of Work - Innest

Introduction
Glaze Digital is to provide Shopify development services to clients seeking to establish or enhance their e-commerce presence. The focus of this scope of work is to deliver high-quality, customised Shopify solutions that align with our clients' business objectives and brand identities. Our commitment is to offer expert guidance, innovative design, and robust development, coupled with an in-depth understanding of e-commerce trends and Shopify's capabilities. Through these services, we aim to create successful online stores that drive growth and provide an exceptional user experience.
Scope of Work
Glaze Digital's team will provide comprehensive Shopify development services, including but not limited to: This is a project-based service, with the duration varying based on the complexity and requirements of each client's project.
Key Tasks
Project Initiation
- Initial client consultation and requirements gathering
- Project scope definition and timeline creation
- Design concept presentation and approval
Development Phase
- theme design & development
- Functionality implementation
- App integrations - Product setup and store configuration
Testing and Launch - Quality assurance and cross-browser testing
- Store performance optimisation
- Final client review and approval
- Store launch and go-live support
Post-Launch
- Training session for client on store management
- Handover of all relevant documentation - Post-launch support (as agreed in the project scope)
Cost
- £2,850 + VAT
Payment Terms
The payment schedule for Glaze Digital's Shopify development projects is as follows:
- 50% Deposit to book in the time - 30% on first milestone - 20% on completion of the work
Invoices must be cleared within 14 days of receipt to avoid delays in project progression or handover. We reserve the right to charge additional sums for late invoice payments.
Price Adjustments
Glaze Digital reserves the right to adjust its pricing annually by up to 5% per year. Clients will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days in advance of their implementation.
Limitation of Liability
Glaze Digital's liability in connection with this agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project under this agreement. Nothing in these Terms shall operate to exclude or limit either party’s liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence; (b) fraud; or (c) any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Glaze Digital shall not be liable under or in connection with these Terms or any collateral contract for any: (a) loss of revenue; (b) loss of actual or anticipated profits; (c) loss of contracts; (d) loss of business; (e) loss of opportunity; (f) loss of goodwill or reputation; (g) loss of, damage to or corruption of data; (h) any indirect or consequential loss; (i) loss or damage caused by any inaccuracy, omission, delay or error, whether as a result of negligence or other cause in the production of the website; or (j) loss or damage to the Client’s artwork/photos supplied for the website, whether as a result of negligence or otherwise.
Termination of Contract
This agreement can be terminated by either party with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination, the client will be responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the date of termination.
